Some of our members have been taking trips to the Rockdale Pound, which is located at 290 Beverly Street. The Animal Control Officer there, Jeniece, has her hands full, because they have lots and lots of adoptable dogs. They work with Rockdale PAWS (check the Facebook page for more photos) to get dogs rehabilitated and matched with homes, but right now they just have so many!
After taking a look at the animals, it became clear to our team members who checked the place out that the only reason these dogs aren’t adopted is a lack of publicity, because WOW there is an incredible collection of cuteness out there!
While our Cameron Touch of Love facility has been doing a good job of getting pets adopted, anyone who’s looking for a nice family pet can get in touch with the Rockdale PAWS folks and see if you can find your canine buddy there. I mean, who can resist these faces? They have young dogs, older dogs, large ones, and small ones (including a chihuahua and dachshund puppies) right now.
