Do dogs show up at your property and stay without your consent? Does it seem as if people drop unwanted dogs off in your neighborhood, and they congregate at your house?
Milam Touch of Love is aware that “dog dumping” is a problem in the county. We know there are areas where this is more common than others. We want to help, but we don’t know how big the problem is or who might be willing to help us with it.
To help us devise a plan, we need information. We need to know if you’re one of the people suffering valiantly trying to take care of too many dogs that have appeared at your property. We need to know if you’re frustrated beyond belief. We know we won’t be able to solve this problem fast enough for your tastes, but we need your help so we can develop a plan and begin executing it.
The information you provide is confidential. We will not post it (too many people already know the “good” dumping areas, and we don’t want to advertise to those who don’t). We will use it to devise a plan to help you. We hope some of you will be able to help us with more than information, but, for now, we need the information you have.
When cats are cared for in the community, we use the term “Community Cats.” These dogs are being cared for in the community, so I chose the term “Community Dogs” to describe them. You may have a more colorful term, and that’s okay. Let’s stay as positive as we can, okay?
We appreciate your assistance with this project.
