Barn Cat Snip Day.  August 9, 2023, at the Milano Community Center across from the Post Office.
This is Barn Cat pricing — $55 for each cat.  For that price, you get the following:
Spay/neuter (injected pain medication and antibiotics)
Rabies vaccination (no certificate or tag)
Ear Tip (required)
A microchip is optional at no extra charge.
Please note: You will have no proof of rabies vaccination, and Dr. Brinlee will have no individual record of your cat being treated. This is important for legal considerations. But if you have a barn, stray, or feral cat you are feeding, this is the program to prevent reproduction and protect the cat from rabies.
The minimum age and weight are 8 weeks and 2 lbs. (12 weeks is ideal because they are old enough for their rabies shot then.)

Please complete the form below to register. Complete one form for each cat. Please don’t register more than four.

Special Notes:
For residents inside the city limits of Rockdale, Milano, and Thorndale: Your cats will be spayed or neutered free of charge. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. If you live on a county road, you are not inside city limits. If you live outside of city limits, you are not inside city limits.  If you need assistance not mentioned here, please email us at mtolsnipandchip@gmail.com and let us know. We can help.

  1. We are interested in the next spay/neuter clinic. We have two outside stray cats that are tame. We are residents of Rockdale and live within the city limits. Please let us know when the sign up is open.
    Thanks!

  2. I live in Davilla area & people dump cats. Both my mom and I can’t let them starve. I have 2 barn cats that I can pick up but 2 that I can’t. My mom lives 2 miles from me and she’s has 🥺 5 momma 🐈& 19 kittens we’re trying to find homes for. I can only pick up 2 of the mom’s, but will have to trap the rest. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP .

    1. Hi, Nicole. We should be able to help. For the ones you need help with, please complete our homeless cat census (help us, homeless cat census). We’ll work you into our schedule. For those you can handle, barn cat day is an option.

  3. I have a new barn cat. How can I register for the next spay clinic? I cannot find a link. We also just adopted two great pyrenees/Anatolian dogs for our goats and are interested in your dog spay clinic.
