Milam Touch of Love is pleased to announce our next snip/chip clinic is on September 27th in Minerva at the Minerva Volunteer Fire Department, 358 County Road 232 Loop, Rockdale, TX. This month’s Snip and Chip is sponsored by Denman Overhead Door.

This event is open to all Milam County Residents for their dogs or cats.

Please note the Snip & Chip setup is not suitable for older dogs and cats (over 8 years of age) or dogs/cats with certain medical conditions. Because of this, we may not be able to schedule your pet for snip and chip but will recommend having the procedure performed in Dr. Brinlee’s office where it will be safer for them.
For $100 ($55 for male cats) the following services will be performed:
* Spay or neuter (with injected pain medication & antibiotics)
* Rabies shot with certificate and tag
* Microchip with free registration and transfer
* CBC bloodwork
* Heartworm test (for dogs over 6 months of age)
Other services are available for an additional charge.

Special Notes:
For residents inside the city limits of Milano and Thorndale: Your dogs and cats will be spayed or neutered free of charge. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. This includes the basic spay/neuter package. Additional services will be at your own expense. Rockdale residents — funds have been exhausted for you.  The Milam County Grant is available for everyone not covered by the Milano and Thorndale city packages who reside in Milam County.

Milam County Grant: The Milam County Grant applies to all Milam County residents not covered by a city grant or other program. The cost is $50 ($25 for male cats) per animal. If you elect to use either a city or county grant, please complete the Grant Story so we can share with your leaders how valuable these programs are to you.

    1. We haven’t been able to use the remind list for at least six months. The events fill too fast.

      Please note, we are under no obligation to ensure you receive a reminder. We attempt to utilize several tools that work with varying effectiveness. Our events fill rapidly, and, sadly, sometimes more people are disappointed than are made happy each month.
