Milam Touch of Love is pleased to announce our next snip/chip clinic is on May 22nd in Thorndale. This event is open to all Milam County Residents for their dogs or cats.
Please note the Snip & Chip setup is not suitable for older dogs and cats (over 8 years of age) or dogs/cats with certain medical conditions. Because of this, we may not be able to schedule your pet for snip and chip but will recommend having the procedure performed in Dr. Brinlee’s office where it will be safer for them.
For $100 ($55 for male cats) the following services will be performed:
* Spay or neuter (with injected pain medication & antibiotics)
* Rabies shot with certificate and tag
* Microchip with free registration and transfer
* CBC bloodwork
* Heartworm test (for dogs over 6 months of age)
Other services are available for an additional charge.
Special Notes:
For residents INSIDE the city limits of Milano and Thorndale: Your dogs and cats will be spayed or neutered free of charge. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. This includes the basic spay/neuter package. Additional services will be at your own expense.
Milam County Grant: Thanks to Milam County Commissioners, we have a grant available to offset spay and neuter costs. After applying the Milam County Grant (only available to Milam County Residents), your cost will be $50 for dogs and female cats or $25 for male cats. If you want this grant to apply to you, please select it in the registration form. This only applies to the basic spay/neuter package. Additional services will be at your own expense.

Y’all did a great job on nurturing my puppy. Who is now 1 1/2 yrs. old. Someone dropped a kitten off on me back in January maybe December. But she has just had 5 kittens. (Today) 05/12/2024. I would love to know when your next Barn cat snip and clip is open. As I’m unable to keep her in my house she lives outside. And I will need to know the cost of the surgery. Thank you for that wonderful job y’all continue to do. Kathy
