The Milam County Grant has been exhausted for this year. We are thankful to have been able to offer it to you for as long as we have been able. Milano and Thorndale are still covering their citizen’s costs until at least September 30, 2024. We need to verify new budgets beyond that date.

Additionally, donations are down, and your donations are how we have been able to offer the low-cost price of $100 per dog and female cat and $55 per male cat or barn cat. For now, that will be our pricing, but we may have to resort to “full” price low-cost spay and neuter at the cost we pay for the services (not more than $50 more per animal) soon to sustain operations.

We do still have our matching funds fundraiser running through August 31. We have an anonymous donor willing to match donations up to $10,000. If we can earn this match, it will help tremendously! Check this post from July 22 for details.

    1. I’m not sure what you mean. You can register for and bring them to Barn Cat Day. If you are unable to do this by yourself, please register them in the homeless cat census (under the Help Us tab), and we will work them in when we can.

    2. What do you mean by “they need our attention”? You are welcome to register them when registration is open and bring them in for barn Cat day. If you need more help than that, please sign them up on our Homeless Cat Cendus, and we will get to you as we are able (we’re working on entries from a year and a half ago, so it isnt a speedy process).
