Barn Cat Snip Day.  September 11, 2024, at the Milano Community Center across from the Post Office.

This is Barn Cat pricing — $55 for each cat.  For that price, you get the following:
Spay/neuter (injected pain medication and antibiotics)
Rabies vaccination (no certificate or tag)
Ear Tip (required)
A microchip is optional at no extra charge.
Please note: You will have no proof of rabies vaccination, and Dr. Brinlee will have no individual record of your cat being treated. This is important for legal considerations. But if you have a barn, stray, or feral cat you are feeding, this is the program to prevent reproduction and protect the cat from rabies.
The minimum age and weight are 8 weeks and 2 lbs. (12 weeks is ideal because they are old enough for their rabies shot then.)

Please complete the form below to register. Complete one form for each cat. Please don’t register more than four.

Special Notes:
For residents inside the city limits of Milano and Thorndale: Your cats will be spayed or neutered free of charge. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. If you live on a county road, you are not inside city limits. If you live outside of city limits, you are not inside city limits.
The Milam County Grant has been exhausted and is not available. Unless you qualify as a Milano or Thorndale City resident or have been asked to use the May Day option, the price per cat is $55.
If you need assistance not mentioned here, please email us at mtolsnipandchip@gmail.com and let us know. We can help.

  1. Hi, Jean Hejl, again. Sorry to be a bother. I have a 19-week litter of five kittens that are strictly outdoor cats. I think they are all female. I’ve registered for four cats. May I go ahead and register for one more?

  2. Hi, I know it says closed. But, we just rescued a calico out of a tree. Can’t be but 2-3 months old. Ferrell so hard to rescue. Ant chance to get her in??
