Milam Touch of Love is pleased to announce our next snip/chip clinic is on April 23rd in Cameron at 502 N. Crocket Ave. This event is open to all Milam County Residents for their dogs or cats. Please note the Snip & Chip setup is not suitable for older dogs and cats (over 8 years of age) or dogs/cats with certain medical conditions. Because of this, we may not be able to schedule your pet for snip and chip but we will recommend having the procedure performed in Dr. Brinlee’s office where it will be safer. For $130 ($80 for male cats) the following services will be performed:

* Spay or neuter (with injected pain medication & antibiotics)

* Rabies shot with certificate and tag

* Microchip with free registration and transfer

* CBC bloodwork

* Heartworm test (for dogs over 6 months of age) Other services are available for an additional charge.

Special Notes: For residents INSIDE the city limits of Milano: Your dogs and cats will be spayed or neutered free of charge. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. This includes the basic spay/neuter package and wellness care if selected at registration.

Unless you qualify as a Milano resident or have been asked to use the May Day option, the price per dog and female cat is $130 and $80 for male cats.

  1. I have an rv park and I want to bring in 4 ferral cats from the park.
    We have around 10 currently living outside.

  2. Can i spay a rescue cat if she just had babies? I need to know before i bring her in. I dont want her to loose her milk supply. She is a feral cat that i took in. Also i dont have much to pay so could i get a price in how much it would cost me!? Please and thank you.

    1. She needs to have weaned her kittens before you spay her.

      Barn Cat is $55, Porch cat is $70, and pet cat is $130.

  3. For the life of me I can not find where to actually register for an event. I’ve missed the last several snippy and chip events and really need to get my dog spayed. Can someone PLEASE walk me through the process so I don’t miss the next one?

    1. Until yesterday afternoon, there was a registration form on the post you commented on for this months event. It had been there since Saturday at 6 am. Come back next month on may 17 at six am and find the snip and chip post (it should be the third entry),open it, complete the registration form, and submit.
